Purpose:

The El Paso County Planning Commission reviews planning petitions and makes recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners on land use requests and prepares a master plan for unincorporated areas of the county.

Meetings: Effective September 2, 2021

Commission meetings are held on the first and third Thursday of the month at 9:00 a.m. at Pikes Peak Regional Building, 2880 International Circle, Colorado Springs, CO

Members and Length of Terms:

The commission consists of nine members appointed by the Board of County Commissioners for three-year terms. Associate members may be appointed for a one-year term and may be reappointed for an indefinite number of terms.Other terms are limited to two full consecutive terms.
